About KDEC Research Projects

We at KDEC are committed to joining the search for better Diabetes care. Our physicians participate in ongoing research for new medications that are on the horizon. If you participate in one of our studies, your office visits, lab work , as well as some medications and diabetes supplies will be furnished at no charge. In some circumstances you will be compensated for your time and travel.

Current Research Studies

If your A1c is above goal and you fit the following criteria, please ask your doctor if you qualify or contact one of our study staff.

18-75 years old, Type 2 Diabetes, on oral medications, no insulin or on less than 50 units per day for less than 6 months
18-75 years old, Type 1 Diabetes
18-70 years old, Type 2 Diabetes, on three oral medications
Type 2 Diabetes, NEVER taken insulin and on oral medications
